Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission Commencement 2023-24
The KVS Admission process for the academic year 2023-24 has begun. The KVS Admission Forms will be available online on the KVS website from the month of February 2023 and will continue till the beginning week of April 2023.
All classes 2 to 12 will have their admission forms available online but class 11 only accepts applications in offline mode. Application forms can be filled out as per the instructions provided on them. Applicants must ensure that they have fulfilled all the eligibility requirements before filling out the KVS Admission Form.
After the KVS Admission Form is submitted with all required documents, KVS will review it and give final approval for admission.
The admission process for class 1 is according to the lottery system and the priority criteria are listed in detail further in the blog post later. Admissions for class 2 to 8 is taken on account of the priority system only, no entrance tests are conducted for it.

KVS Admission Procedure In Glance
Step 1: KVS Admission Forms will be available online in February 2023.
Step 2: Fill out the KVS Admission form carefully according to the instructions and submit it along with all the required documents before the deadline.
Step 3: KVS will review your application and give final approval for admission.
Step 4: KVS will announce the admission list in May/June 2023, depending on the KVS Admission schedule.
Step 5: KVS will allot a KV School and class to each student who has been selected for admission through the KVS Admission process.
Step 6: KVS will release the KV Fee Structure for the academic year 2023-24.

Eligibility Criteria For KVS Admissions 2023-24
Kendriya Vidyalaya, KVS has eligibility criteria that have to be fulfilled for admission to KV Schools. The KVS Admission Form should also reflect the same and all information must be verified before submission.

- Class 11th students have no age restrictions imposed by the committee but the student must be seeking admission in 11th in the year of passing class 10th only.
- Similarly, there are no bounded age limits for admission in class provided the student had a continuous study period from class 11th.

The transfer certificate should be provided at the KV School in order to confirm admission. KVS will also release KV Fee Structure for the academic year 2023-24 and students can go through it to know about KV fees and other details.
Priority Chart Of KVS Admissions 2023-24
KVS also has a priority chart that will be used for KVS admissions 2023-24. This priority chart is given below:
