What is SSC CGL Exam?
SSC CGL is a national level exam conducted by the SSC (Staff Selection Commission) to recruit eligible candidates for various posts in ministries, departments and subordinate offices of the Indian Government. The SSC CGL examination is held once a year and the selection process comprises of four stages, namely-

#1. SSC CGL Tier-1 Exam Pattern
There are four tier in this exam. candidates have to clear all the tiers to qualify this exam
Mode of the examination is online
SSC CGL Tier-1 consists of 4 sections in which 100 questions are asked carrying a total of 200 marks with 60 minutes of time duration.
Here are the sections that are asked in SSC CGL tier-1.

There will also be negative marking in SSC CGL examination in which 0.5 marks will be deducted for answering one wrong question
If you skip a question there will be no Negative marking
#2. SSC CGL Tier-2 Exam Pattern
SSC CGL tier-2 consists of 4 papers in which four papers are of 100 marks and one paper will be of 200 marks

SSC CGL TIER 3 exam will be a descriptive paper to be given in English or Hindi. the total marks of this paper will be 100 with a time duration of 60 minutes

#4. SSC CGL Tier-4 Exam Pattern
SSC CGL TIER-4 EXAM is a computer skill-based exam in which two test will be conducted CPT & DEST.
- CPT is a computer proficiency test.
- DEST is a Data entry skill test.
- Time duration of this test will be 15 minutes.

Application process for SSC CGL 2022
Candidates who wants to fill their application form of SSC CGL can fill it by visiting the official website of SSC CGL which is ssc.nic.in.
Steps to fill this form are as follow:
STEP 1: Firstly visit the official website of SSC CGL i.e ssc.nic.in.
STEP 2: Now a homepage will open ,click on the apply button.
STEP 3: Now you are in a new page ,click on the link combined graduate level examination, 2022.
STEP 4: After clicking on the link a home page will open where you have to login as a new user if you are not already registered.
STEP 5: Now carefully fill your information in it like your aadhaar no. ,ID no., your name , father’s name ,mother’s name, your date of birth, email id , mobile no.
Note - Please fill a valid & active mobile no. & email Id.
- STEP 5: After filling all the data.
- STEP 6: Now click on save button.
- STEP 7: Now your registration number and some information will come on your registered mobile no. and email. Note it down.
- STEP 8: Now upload your photo, signature, educational qualification, etc.
- STEP 9: After filling all the information in the registration form, check it thoroughly and submit it by clicking on submit button.

Educational Qualification
Candidates must have completed their Graduation or equivalent degree from a recognized University or Institute. Final year students may also apply, but they will have to produce the required proof of qualification at the time of Interview/Document Verification.
