Physical Standards

Candidates must meet the physical requirements for admission to the Indian Forest Service Examination. Candidates are encouraged to read the official IFS announcement to review the full set of rules and guidelines.

Nationality

An applicant must be: 

  • An Indian national, or
  • Nepal as a topic, or
  • Bhutan as a topic, or

Tibetan refugees who entered India before January 1, 1962, intending to remain there permanently, or a person of Indian descent who moved to India to stay there permanently, such as from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and nations in East Africa like Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam.

Candidates who fall under categories B, C, D, and E must present a certificate of eligibility that was issued by the Indian government.

कितनी होगी वेतन (Salary Details)

  • यूनियन पब्लिक सर्विस कमीशन द्वारा सिलेक्शन होने के बाद पदों में आपको 56100 रुपए से लेकर 2 लाख 25000 रुपए तक का वेतन मिलेगा 

इंडियन फॉरेस्ट सर्विस में आवेदन करने के लिए शुल्क 

  • जनरल कैटेगरी के उम्मीदवारों को ₹100 रुपए का फीस देना होगा 
  • वही SC/ST, महिला ( Female) और फिजिकल हैंडिकैप्ड (Physical Handicap) उम्मीदवार इन पदों के लिए के लिए निशुल्क आवेदन कर सकते है

आवेदन करने के लिए योग्य आयु सीमा 

  • न्यूनतम आयु – 21 साल
  • अधिकतम आयु – 32 साल 

इंडियन फॉरेस्ट सर्विस के परीक्षा में बैठने वाले सभी उम्मीदवारों को 6 प्रयासों की अनुमति दी जाएगी। अनुसूचित जाति अनुसूचित जनजाति या गरीब तबके और PWBD उम्मीदवारों के प्रयासों की संख्या में छुट दी जाएगी। उम्मीदवार यूपीएससी की प्रेलिम्स एडमिट कार्ड परीक्षा के 15 दिन पहले यूपीएससी की आधिकारिक वेबसाइट से डाउनलोड कर सकेंगे।

चयन प्रक्रिया – Detailed UPSC IFS Selection Procedure 2022

Three staged examinations are included in the IFS selection process. The Preliminary or Prelims test is the first level of the UPSC IFS. Preliminary exams for the IFS and CSE/IAS are identical. The preliminary exam took place on June 5, 2022. 

The second level of the IFS hiring procedure is the main exam. The UPSC IFS mains 2022 will take place following the release of the prelims 2022 results. Those who pass the preliminary exam are eligible to take the main exam.
