NIC Recruitment 2023 Selection Process:
The written exam and interview are both part of the selection process.
For the Scientific/Technical Assistant – “A” Post, only a written test will be used for selection. For Scientist “B” and Scientific Officer / Engineer-SB Posts, both a written examination and an interview will be used for selection.
The written test will be given online, and the exam paper will contain 120 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) that must be answered in a limit of 3 hours.
English is the only language permitted for the written exam.
35% of the questions will be general in nature, while the remaining 65% will be technical in nature.
Each question will be worth one (one) mark, and each incorrect response will result in a deduction of 0.25 marks.
